This class is for students who wish to become certified in First Aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator). This hands-on skills training prepares students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. It also teaches the skills and knowledge needed to provide care for victims of sudden cardiac arrest through the safe use of an automated external defibrillator.

We believe basic first aid, CPR, and AED training is vital to the concealed carry holder, firearm owner, or anyone who wants to have skills for self-care and care of family and loved ones. This class will certify students in Basic First Aid, CPR, and AED. Students will also participate in scenario based training, to better prepare them for real world medical emergencies. Gunshot wounds, penetrating and knife wounds, and other trauma will be covered extensively, including the use of tourniquets, pressure bandages, and hemostatics. You owe it to yourself and your family to take this class! The student will take home manuals and basic first aid equipment.

Skills covered in this course include first aid basics; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; medical Injuries and emergencies; use of an epinephrine pen; control bleeding and bandaging; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. Also, students will learn how to keep someone alive and stable enough until EMS arrives. Each student will demonstrate how to deal with each injury by practicing hands-on skills throughout the course as well as scenario based training sessions.

This class is for students who wish to apply for the Florida Concealed Carry Weapon permit. Our curriculum covers vital Florida Concealed Carry info in addition to the state minimums. This course covers: course materials; the full application packet with mailing services; the Florida state required instruction; Basic Firearm Mechanics and Operation; Concealed Carry Ammunition Overview; Types of Concealed Carry Firearms; Concealed Carry Firearm Safety; Florida Legal Instruction (including Justifiable Force, Citizen’s Arrest, Reciprocity, Firearm Transport, etc.); Concealed Carry Firearm Storage & Accessories Overview (Holsters, Safes, etc.); Escalation of Force; Criminal & Civil Liability; and Firing Stances and Positions. We also cover the paperwork required to submit your application for a stress free experience for our students.

The course costs is $75/person or $100/couple. In addition, the Florida Concealed Carry Weapon Permit Fee of $112.00/person (for non-Florida residents), is paid to the State of Florida. The permit is valid for 7 years and re-certification is not required for renewal.

Students must bring a state issued driver’s license or state Identification Card. Live ammunition is NOT allowed in the classroom. Standard firearms handling exercises are conducted in a dry-fire environment with NO LIVE AMMO in the classroom. Students are tested with real firearms to demonstrate understanding of firearm safety/safe handling and the ability to operate (load, aim, discharge, unload) the firearm correctly. Firing of a firearm is required to obtain the Non-Resident Florida concealed firearm permit. *Exception to firing – military veterans, prior law enforcement, hunter safety course completion, or anyone who has attended an NRA firearms course taught by a NRA Certified Instructor.

Students are provided with a copy of all class materials including the required course outline, Florida Laws and Information, and bonus materials covering the use of force continuum and other firearms and defensive topics – plus product reviews and recommendations. Persons taking this course must be: (1) Law-abiding adults 21 years of age or older; (2) Legal residents of the United States of America and (3) Eligible to legally handle firearms (NO convicted felons or otherwise restricted persons).

This permit is perfect for people who travel and want to legally protect themselves and their family. We provide all the training materials, certificate of completion, and for your added convenience we provide the Florida photograph and fingerprint cards. The Florida permit is recognized in 32 states for nonresidents. The Florida and Illinois permits combined are recognized by 37 states! There is no time
restriction for applying for this permit.

The Florida Concealed Carry License is honored in 31 states:
Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming

Upon completion of the Illinois course, you may use your obtained Illinois certificate to apply for non-resident permits from the following states: Florida and Arizona.
Each state will charge a different amount for their own permit at the time of application. Applications are available by contacting the appropriate state.

This class is for students who wish to apply for the Illinois Concealed Carry permit and who have already completed their first 8 hours of training and/or approved coursework, acceptable by the Illinois State Police standards, per the Firearm Concealed Carry Act.

Students with either previous military experience or approved 8 hours of firearms training must bring proof of their documentation at the start of class. Copies of the Honorable Military Discharge (DD-214) or other approved certification will satisfy the State of Illinois. Examples include: NRA Basic Pistol (8-hours), NRA Personal Defense Inside the Home (8 hours), NRA Personal Defense Outside the Home (8 hours). Other approved documentation and training include: Active Duty Military (Current Duty Orders) and Military Reserves. Concealed Carry Permits/Certificates from: Florida (4 hours), Kentucky (4 hours), Michigan (4 hours), Missouri (4 hours), Nevada (4 hours) and Utah (4 hours) are also accepted with an additional approved 4 hours firearms trainings course with range. Examples include: NRA Home Firearm Safety + range (4 Hours) and NRA Defensive Pistol (4 Hours).

Completion of the 8 hours Illinois Concealed Carry class combined with proof of completion of 8 hours approved previous firearms training or the DD-214 military document satisfies the Illinois 16 hours requirements to apply for a permit to carry concealed in Illinois. The Illinois concealed carry course consists of both classroom work and range work. Students will be required to successfully complete the course and pass a practical range proficiency test.

Students must read, write and understand English and be able to follow all of the directions given by the Instructor. Students must pass a practical proficiency test on the firing range, scoring no less than 70% with a minimum of 30 rounds. 10 rounds fired at 5 yards (15 Feet); 10 rounds fired at 7 yards (21 Feet); and 10 rounds fired at 10 yards (30 Feet) distances using a B27 target. 10 practice rounds will also be allowed. Once completed and passed the classroom and range portions, the student will receive a certificate of course completion. This is not an NRA-approved course.

The Illinois Concealed Carry License is honored in 27 states:

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. This 8-Hour course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot rifles. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest, prone, sitting, standing and kneeling positions; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Rifle Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

The NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude for the safe and proper use of a shotgun. This 10-Hour course includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at a target of different distances. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, take a Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

This course is an intensive overview in gun safety, gun handling, various types of pistols, ammunition, the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, proper grip & stance, gun cleaning and gun storage. We will also perform practical shooting exercises at the firing range. This class is great for beginners as well as seasoned gun enthusiast. All students will get the NRA’s Basics Pistol Shooting handbook. An NRA Basic Pistol certificate will be awarded after demonstration of safe gun handling at all times and after successfully passing a short written test covering course material.

You will need the following: (1) driver’s license/state identification; (2) a concealable semi-automatic or revolver handgun and owner’s manual; (3) a box of 50 or 100 rounds of full metal jacket ammunition; (4) a valid FOID card if you plan to rent a weapon or buy ammunition; (5) a rigid non-collapsible holster, (6) a baseball cap, closed toe shoes and preferably long pants & shirts; (7) shooting safety glasses and ear muffs or ear plugs and (8) a handgun cleaning kit (brush with handle, solvent, gun oil, cotton cloth and patches). Student must demonstrate the knowledge of field stripping and cleaning a pistol.

You may bring your unloaded weapon to class and to the firing range in a pistol case or range bag. Live ammunition is NOT allowed in the classroom, and all magazines and chambers must be clear and checked before the start of class. Remember, you can NOT transport your firearm on your person or in the compartment of your car until you get your permit. You are allowed to transport your unloaded weapon to the firing range, while in your trunk and inside a case or range bag.

Learn how to shoot a rifle during this first-steps orientation, where we introduce you to the basics of the rifle. This 3-Hour course is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific rifle action type. This course includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific rifle action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular rifle model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Rifle Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet and FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.

This class is for students who wish to apply for the Utah Concealed Carry permit. Our curriculum covers vital Utah Concealed Carry info in addition to the state minimums. This course covers: course materials; the full application packet with mailing services; the Utah state required instruction; Basic Firearm Mechanics and Operation; Concealed Carry Ammunition Overview; Types of Concealed Carry Firearms; Concealed Carry Firearm Safety; Utah Legal Instruction (including Justifiable Force, Citizen’s Arrest, Reciprocity, Firearm Transport, etc.); Concealed Carry Firearm Storage & Accessories Overview (Holsters, Safes, etc.); Escalation of Force; Criminal & Civil Liability; and Firing Stances and Positions. As an added value, we offer on-site fingerprinting and photographs at a reasonable cost. We also cover the paperwork required to submit your application for a stress-free experience for our students.

The course costs is $75/person or $125/couple. In addition, the Utah Concealed Carry Firearms Permit Fee is $47.00 for non-Utah residents. Check or Money Order is payable to BCI and can be paid at the class as part of the applicant packet. Please Note – If you are not a Utah resident and live in a state where Concealed Firearm Permits are available, you must obtain your home state permit FIRST and include a copy of it with your Utah Permit Application. This copy is provided as part of the course. The student is responsible for bringing a valid permit to class. Renewals are only $15.00 every 5 years with a new passport-type photo and renewal application submitted. There is no re-certification course required.

This course leads to a 20-Hour Security Officer Training Completion Certificate. The certificate confirms the completion of the required subjects, to obtain your PERC (Permanent Employee Registration Card) from the State of Illinois.

All individuals who want to be employed as a Private Security Officer or Private Investigator in the State of Illinois must complete the 20- Hour Unarmed Security-Investigator Training Course at a state-licensed training facility. Are you looking to start your career in private security? This is the course for you and there are occasionally job placement opportunities available.

This course primarily teaches firearm safety and emphasizes the NRA’s three rules for safe gun handling. The course will cover: (1) primary causes of firearms accidents; (2) firearm parts and components; (3) how to load & unload certain action types; (4) ammunition components; (5) pistol cleaning & care and (6) safe storage of firearms in the home. Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, and a course completion certificate. This is a classroom only course with NO RANGE TIME. Range training can be added at an additional fee.

* Deposits are due via PayPal to complete your registration. The full balance of the payments is due at the start of the course.

* All range fees, ammunition, targets, gun rental charges and the Live Scan finger printing fees are separate and not included in the course cost.

* Please be advised that you may be required to drive up to an hour to get to the shooting range and pass a practical proficiency test on the firing range scoring no less than 70% to satisfy Illinois state requirements.

* Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your course more than seven days prior to the start date, you will be refunded your tuition in full. If you cancel your course seat less than seven days prior to the start date, you will lose your deposit.

* If the class is rescheduled by the school you may receive a full refund when notified or choose to attend the new training date. There is a minimum of 4 students needed for some classes to begin. You will be notified if the class has been rescheduled due to an insufficient amount of attendees.
